Thousands of junior and senior students and parents recently filled the arena at the Berry Center for College and Career Night as they explored the various options beyond high school graduation.
Coordinated and hosted by the guidance and counseling department, the district’s 18th annual College and Career Night event provided students with the opportunity to browse booths and talk to representatives from approximately 180 colleges, universities, technical and specialty schools.
New to the College Night program this year were three sessions presented in English and Spanish on financial aid for college. The collaborative effort of many staff members provided a way for students to explore options beyond high school graduation and stressed the college and career readiness goals of the district.
