Cy-Fair ISD Student of the Week: Clint Jozwiak

Cypress Woods High School senior Clint Jozwiakhad the winning Grand Champion Market Steer at the 2013 Cy-Fair ISD Livestock Show and Sale, held  at the Cy-Fair ISD Exhibit Center. Jozwiak’s steer sold to Crane Rental Div, Inc., for $40,000.

Accomplishments: 2013 Cy-Fair ISD Livestock Show Grand Champion Steer; 2012 Harris County Fair Grand Champion Scramble Heifer; 2012 Youth Expo of Harris County Reserve Champion British Heifer; 2011 Harris County Fair Reserve Champion Heifer; Lone Star FFA Degree recipient; 2010 CFISD Livestock Show Reserve Champion Steer; Cypress Woods High School Varsity Track Team letterman, sophomore year.

Favorite class: College algebra. “It gives me a chance to solve problems.”

 Favorite thing to do after class: Care for animal projects, hang out with friends.

 Favorite song: Amarillo Sky by Jason Aldean

 Favorite website: “The Express Ranches have the breed of cattle that I like to raise most. I have an Angus heifer from there.”

 Favorite TV show: “I do not have a favorite but I do enjoy watching Duck Dynasty and The Discovery Channel.”

 Favorite Movie: Pure Country and Where the Red Fern Grows. “Both of these movies are about being true to yourself and show that hard work pays off.”

 Ambition: “I would like to eventually run my family business, Jozwiak Plumbing, to extend the 48 years of its existence.”

What topics/things are you passionate about? My truck and my small herd of Angus cattle.

What inspires you? My dad and grandpa, due to their hard work ethic.

What three things can’t you live without? Truck, phone and sleep.
