Cypress, TX News – Cy-Fair ISD Names Assistant Superintendent for Facilities and Construction

Cypress, TX News (August 18, 2014) – Cy-Fair ISD has named Dillon Brady the new assistant superintendent for facilities and construction, effective Sept. 2.

Brady joins CFISD with more than 14 years of experience in construction and facility services for K-12 educational facilities. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Nebraska.

He is currently employed at Houston Independent School District serving as General Manager of Construction Services responsible for overseeing the construction phases of the HISD 2007 bond program as well as its $1.8 billion 2012 construction program. Over his 14-year career, Dillon has successfully managed more than $2 billion of K-12 bond programs and construction projects across multiple states including Texas, Nebraska, Colorado and Ohio.

Brady is a member of the Council of Educational Facilities Planners International (CEFPI) and is a Recognized Educational Facility Planner (REFP). He also holds LEED AP certification from the US Green Building Council.

In his new role, Brady will be overseeing the design and construction phases of projects that were included in our recent $1.2 billion 2014 bond program as well as being responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations and energy management departments for the district.
