Cypress TX News – Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Supports Troops

Cypress, TX News (March 18, 2014) – Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum provides support for our military troops throughout the year by volunteering at Operation Interdependence in the Cypress area. CWJF members assemble packets of treats, toiletries and encouraging notes that are boxed and sent to our men and women stationed in foreign countries.

Recently, CWJF was able to introduced OI to delegates from other Texas chapters at the biennial Junior Forum, Inc. Convention.  Members were able to write notes to the troops and assemble packets for later mailings.

Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is a growing organization of women dedicated to providing volunteer services, leadership and philanthropy to enrich the communities in north Harris and south Montgomery counties.  CWJF partners with agencies, schools and corporations to fulfill identified needs in education, crisis intervention, interaction with an aging population and support for people with disabilities.  For information on joining CWJF, contact Elizabeth at
