9/10 Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will Playhouse 1960 8 p.m. Set in a small Texas town in anytime, U.S.A., Dyin’ concerns the reunion of a family gathered to await the imminent death of their patriarch, who has recently suffered a physically as well as mentally disabling stroke. In essence, however, it is not the story of the impending demise of the father or of the drafting of his will, but of a rebirth of the spirit of the family unit. Without becoming ponderous, losing a sense of humor or pandering to timeworn clichés about Texans or Texas drawls, the story … shares many elements of a good summer novel: it’s a fast, delicious, easy read with funny moments, tense moments, touching moments, and characters you care about.Call 281.587.8243 for more information; www.ph1960.com.

Families learn about God's word and the world through music, drama and fellowship. We believe the greatest spiritual influence in the lives of children is their home. Our goal is to partner with families on their lifelong journey to disciple their kids. We have designed a worship service that offers families tools to take God's word home and apply it throughout their week. After all, kids spend about 60 or so hours a year at church, yet close to 3000 hours a year with their families. Call 281-855-0222 for more information.
