The foundation’s goal is to create a premier high school basketball tournament that engages the community, promotes the sport of basketball, fosters community spirit and raises funds for student scholarships and staff development grants to Cy-Fair ISD.

Games will be played at the Berry Center, Cy-Fair High School, Langham Creek High School and Cypress Woods High School, with a bracket and game times to be released after the Thanksgiving holiday. The championship game will be played at 4 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

The tournament will again be loaded with talent, including some of the top teams in the state of Texas and the 10 CFISD boys’ varsity basketball teams. The 2014 tournament champion, Beaumont Ozen, was the UIL Class 5A state runner-up; while 2013 tournament champion, Galena Park North Shore, was Class 5A (now 6A) state champion.
