Cypress, TX (June 22, 2016) Land Tejas and members of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 6 to open a new recreation complex in Miramesa at Canyon Lakes West.
The five-acre complex includes a 3,000 square-foot clubhouse with exercise facilities and meeting space overlooking a resort-style pool. The complex also includes a splash pad, covered pavilion, lighted tennis court, sand volleyball court, playground and dog park.
Land Tejas consulting partners — D.L. Meacham Construction LP., KGA Deforest Design, LLC, HBL Architects and LM Design — were also in attendance at the ceremony.
“The Miramesa Recreation Center is a beautiful facility and represents the type of noteworthy development we support in Cy-Fair,” said Leslie Martone, President of the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce.
“Land Tejas is pleased to expand the array of amenities offered to the residents of Miramesa, Canyon Lakes West, and Stone Gate,” said Jennifer Keller, President and Chief Operating Officer of Land Tejas. “All residents of these communities have access to this complex as well as the other existing amenities in Canyon Lakes West and Stone Gate including SplashPad Texas®, a golf course, community centers, a basketball pavilion, tennis courts, fitness centers, playgrounds and numerous pocket parks.”
Land Tejas is also designing a sixth recreation complex in the Stone Gate family of amenities that will be located on Morrison Grove Drive in Canyon Lakes West. When completed, this complex will include a recreation center building, splash pad, lap pool, playground, covered pavilion and half-court basketball court.
