Miramesa Plans Fine Art of Living Opening

Cypress, TX News (October 7, 2015) – Miramesa at Canyon Lakes West anticipates drawing a crowd during its Fine Art of Living grand opening 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17.

Visitors will have a chance to see renowned chalk artist Anat Ronen and famed graffiti artist Pilot at work as they enjoy a palette of interactive, artistic activities in the Cypress master-planned community.

“There is something for everyone at this event, which mirrors our development of Miramesa, where builders have an array of home designs and planned amenities that will appeal to all ages,” said Al Brende, co-owner and founder of Land Tejas, developer of Miramesa.

Planners have curated a wealth of engaging activities, including a giant paint station, pumpkin decorating, a caricaturist, art cars, mimes and strolling entertainers. Plus, visitors can tour a gallery of artwork on display in 12 new model homes open in the development, part of the Canyon Gate family of communities. The models also will be hosting balloon artists, cupcake decorating, sand art, a chance to decorate Halloween baskets, facepainting and more. People can also take “Fotos with Ferrari” on-site with a car from Ferrari of Houston.

S’more-making, hot cocoa and a trail mix bar also are planned as well as tastings of vintages from Pleasant Hill Winery and Saint Arnold’s Brewing Company’s Art Car IPA. Mr. Sizzle and Foreign Policy food trucks also will be on-site.

Miramesa is located south of U.S. 290 on Fry Road at Mirabella Drive. Eleven leading builders offer homes priced from the $220,000s in the development, which has seen approximately 200 homes sales since presales began late last year. Plus, crews recently started construction on a five-acre recreation center that will comprise resort swimming, tennis, sand volleyball, a dog park, playground and 3,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center and meeting facilities.
