School may just be ending, but Northwest Assistance Ministries is already preparing to help students head back to class in the fall. Every year, NAM hosts a back-to-school drive to purchase supplies for local children in need.
The drive benefits students in kindergarten through 12th grade, who attend school in Spring and Klein ISD’s as well as portions of Aldine and Cy-Fair. Last year more than 2,300 students received supplies from NAM.
“Part of the fun of a new school year is that fresh box of crayons, or brand new folders just waiting to be filled with creative ideas,” said Carole Little, President and CEO of NAM. “We want every student to be enthusiastic about school and have the tools to succeed. When children and teens are excited about learning, it can only mean good things for their life.”
A gift of $230 will provide school supplies for 10 children. NAM purchases supplies in bulk, pre-packaged by grade level, so the cost is greatly reduced and your donation goes further.
