Realtors Party for Charity

Cypress, TX (November 12, 2013) – When it comes to Martha Turner Properties’ support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Ashton Martini holds all the aces. The MTP broker associate rolled out the dice for the charity, and promises to make it into an annual event. Martini held the party in his 3.3 million listing at 11 Electra Circle in Carlton Woods.

This six-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style home was built by Lucia’s Oaks Custom Homes. Martini transformed the home’s open formal spaces, great room and kitchen into a Monte-Carlo-style casino with blackjack and roulette tables, croupiers, a five-piece band, and waiters passing trays of delectable bites, and a featured drink – the “Ashton” Martini. The night’s Belle Époque feel was complete with a cigar roller, who wrapped custom-ordered stogies for guests to enjoy in the outdoor pool area.

Buses shuttled Houston guests to the party from the Martha Turner Properties offices on Briar Hollow Lane, and from a location in the Heights. Upon entry, guests could contribute $20 in exchange for $500 in chips. For the faint of heart, purchasing raffle tickets to win a flat-screen TV as well as assorted martini baskets were an alternative as well.

Martini has a history of aiding the MS Society. As captain of the 2013 Martha Turner Properties BP MS 150 team, he raised more than $20,000 for the charity and plans to raise $100,000 in 2014 with more than 50 riders and 30 support volunteers. “I wanted this party to be elegant, fun, and most importantly, profitable for the MS Society,” Martini said. “It was an amazing success and such a terrific kick-off for our 2014 goal. I am going to make this an annual event.”

In attendance, supporting Ashton’s charitable efforts were Martha Turner Properties executives Martha Turner, Glenn Bauguss and Tom Anderson. Javier and Marisela Bustos and Maria Villamediana from Lucia’s Oaks were also among the distinguished guests who threw the dice in support of the National MS Society.

The crowd was also filled with several members of the Martha Turner Properties immediate and extended family such as builder Clark Arnold and his wife Genevieve, Javier Gautier, Dieter Lehman (BMW of Houston North), Mike McFarland (Legacy Mutual Mortgage), Peter and Esther de Smidt, Dr. Trisha Perry, Sylvia Wade (Alamo Title), Chantal Froehlich (First American Title), and Tara Seidenberg.
